According to this Press Release, spend on Executive Coaching has doubled over the last decade, to $1.9bn. The growth in Executive Coaching is down to not only more individuals taking advantage of executive coaching, but also from organisations seeing the value of executive coaches.
VALUE OF EXECUTIVE COACHING
The same Press Release highlights studies by the CIPD and Aberdeen Group that show the value of coaching in developing their organisatioinal talent. A further study by PWC quotes that, on average, for every £1 spent on executive coaching, organisations will reap £7.
We believe that the growth of executive coaching is because it drives value for both the individual and the organisation, as at the heart of executive coaching is the desire to develop coupled with the empathy of another to support the individual transitions.
